When I ask my kid if he’s going to college, he says he, “doesn’t know yet.”

I really want him to go to college and to try and get a scholarship, but I am worried about pushing him too hard. Any suggestions? He doesn't love school but he loves playing football ...

    I haven't even said anything to my kids about the option of going to college or not.  In my mind, it's a given that they are all going to go to college.

    College isn't for everyone, I have friends who chose not to go to school, who found careers and begain moving up in them, and decided that they would get a degree to help further their advancement. However, talk to him about football in college and about how a degree can help him. That's all you can do.
